If you just start your Blogging career, you are very focused to rank on Google Search Engine to get traffic on your blog.
In this tutorial, I have given brief details about Sitemap and how to generate sitemap for blogger blog.
The sitemap is the important tool to crawl all the web-pages on your blog on search engines. Google Search Console (earlier known as Google Webmaster Tool) gives to submit the sitemap for blogger websites for free.
Before submitting a sitemap of your website on the Google webmaster tool, you have to verify your website on the platform first. Verify your domain on the Google Search Console then go to generate sitemap for blogger.
Google Search Console accepts sitemap in XML, RSS, or Atom formats. Before generating Sitemap for your Blogspot Blog, you have to know about Sitemap.
What is a Sitemap?
The sitemap is a type of file that helps search engines to crawl and index your website’s content. A sitemap may be an XML or an HTML file but Google Search engine prefers XML sitemap.

How to Create Sitemap for Blogger?
Create and submit sitemap for blogger blog…
You may use the Blogger sitemap generator or make a sitemap manually. This tutorial is for only the Blogger blog and self-hosted Blogspot blog.
Step 1. Sign in to the Google Search Console
Go to Google Search Console and verify your domain first as I have said before.
You may verify your whole domain or URL prefix such as my.exaple.com or you.example.com, etc.
Step 2. Select your desired property
After verifying your domain, select your proper domain (if you have multiple properties) in which you want to submit sitemap.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Sitemap’ option
You will see an option on the left menu section in the Google Search Console page. Just click on the “Sitemap” option to add submit for your blogger blog.
Step 4. Add a New Sitemap
On the particular sitemap page, add your sitemap.
Just put atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500 at the last of the domain.
If you are using blogger, it will look like https://www.example.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
If you are using a self-hosted Blogspot blog it will look like https://www.example.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
(Put the particular word in the place of ‘example’)
You have successfully created and submit the sitemap for blogger blog or self-hosted Blogspot blog.
Keep in mind that this sitemap will generate only 500 posts in your blog. If you have over 500 posts, just put atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=501&max-results=1000 at the end of the URL as same as the above instruction.
If you have over thousand posts, then use atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1001&max-results=1501.
I think you have understood about the sequence.
This simple process as I have shown above is only for Blogger sites. A sitemap is a very important thing to index sites on popular search engines.
